Question 1

Why is my AC running but not cooling?

Accepted Answer

Usually a refrigerant leak, a failing capacitor or compressor, or a frozen evaporator coil restricting airflow. We measure the actual temperature differential, show you the reading, and quote a flat price before any work starts.

Question 2

My AC is set to 70 but the house reads 80. What is wrong?

Accepted Answer

A persistent gap between the thermostat setting and the real temperature usually means the system cannot move heat out — low refrigerant, a dirty condenser coil, or a failing fan motor. It is fixable and normally same-day.

Question 3

Why is my AC unit freezing up or the coils frozen?

Accepted Answer

Frozen coils come from restricted airflow or low refrigerant. Turn the system to fan-only to thaw it, then have it inspected — running a frozen system can damage the compressor, which is the expensive part.

Question 4

Do you offer same-day AC repair in Houston?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We hold same-day slots seven days a week and prioritise homes with young children or elderly residents. Call before noon for the best chance of a same-day visit.

Question 5

How much does AC repair cost in Houston?

Accepted Answer

We quote a flat price before starting, so there are no surprise charges. The inspection is free and carries no obligation.
